Comcast page on my laptop IE page. ?
Comcast is my cable provider; I have different internet provider. I connected a wireless router to get the signal for my laptop, my laptop gets the signal but when I open internet explorer a Comcast page comes up asking for an account number if I’m a customer or to login as a tech. I can’t navigate to another page; does any one know how to fix this problem?

Your laptop is connecting to a neighbor's signal, or Comcast installed a wireless modem on your line, even though you're not buying internet service from them. (Or they're your carrier, but not your provider - your provider is buying "carriage" from Comcast from their location to your home - I doubt that this is the case, but it's entirely possible.)
In any case - if you're sure that your computer is connecting to YOUR wireless signal, call your provider's tech support number and have them talk you through the fix. (You're paying for tech support, so use it. Hopefully, their tech suipport people speak a language you understand - that's not guaranteed these days.)

Hmmm.... I've never had this exact experience, however, it could be comcasts re-action to it's famous limiting process. If you've downloaded or streamed a lot of large files (music, movies, etc...) then they may just be putting a "cap" per se on your service for the remainder of the month.
