1989 camaro wont crank ? need help!!!?

i have an 89 camaro RS 2.8L V6, it has new starter, distributor, cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, fuel filter and lines. it sat up for 8 years and i bought it back in april because it was my moms car before she died, and its sat in the woods since 2000. its turning over and getting fire, its got fuel pressure and the timing is right, it turns over and tries to start and blows out white smoke but it just wont start up.i cant think of what it could be.

    Try replacing the fuel filter, it may be plugged.

    Also try adjusting your carberator, the idling screw may be turned down to low.

    Same answer as the guy above dump that tank get rid of that old fuel. Also before you take the time to do all that try a little starter fluid in the carb of if its fuel injected spray some into the throttle body if this gets the motor starting then definitely dump the fuel and replace it with new fuel. Run it good after that get all that old junk out of there. Good luck

    Sat for 8 years?Did you replace ALL the gas in it? You may want to start here...I would also put in about 2 cans of stuff called "sea foam" into it with fresh gas,after i removed and cleaned all fuel lines,fuel pump and injectors with denatured alcohol and compressed air.
