What others have suggested -- sell lemonade, cookies/brownies, or mow lawns, walk people's dogs, that sort of thing. If you're at least 13, I'd also suggest babysitting if your parents think you're responsible enough...that was my first job when I was 13.
You shouldn't have to sell your personal belongings at a young age to get money, that's just sad imo...try to do something to earn the money so that you'll have the the money, get to keep your stuff, and also start getting some good work experience.

You can make some things to eat, like cookies or lemonade, and sell it in front of your house. Or, you can sell things that you and your brother don't want. If this still doesn't work, borrow money from a friend or a different adult.

Mow lawns. You can charge $10 each, you and your brother, and make $20 a yard.
