Are people still denying that we have the ability to modify the weather?

No, it's BS they never let any bombs off or missiles they are saying that to make people think that's what really happened.

Read the last paragraph it should sum it up for you

We can't control the weather!

You can claim to do all sorts of things, but it doesn't mean it's real. If I do a dance and then it rains, has my dance caused it to rain? The evidence for effective weather modification is thin, at best. There's no doubt that humans can influence the weather in some ways and the climate in other ways, but I think the claims of the Chinese were far-fetched.

Modify? Yes we definitely have the capability to modify the weather, as we do many levels of Earth. Complete control of the weather however may be very far off if at all possible.

If China could control the weather, why did it rain so much during the games?

Even if that is true, it isn't practical. Only China with its unlimited resources could pull that off. That would take 100s of millions of dollars to launch that many rockets.

Wish we could do this in Wales. weve had 6 weeks of constant rain for the kids school holidays
