How do you feel about.......????
Useless celebrities (or good ones for that matter) throwing their support behind a particular candidate?
The other day I heard Rosci from 106 & Park threw her support behind Obama as well as Ashanti, Nelly, and Flava Flav.
I read an article earlier saying that Daddy Yankee has thrown his support for McCain.
Do they REALLY sway anyone's opinion? Does the association help or hurt the candidate?
RHH: Who's hairier--Ashanti or MURS?
@ HNIC--I feel u. I also think they these celebrities think they extra special so they need to tell everyone who they are voting for. 1 celebrity does it and the rest hop on the bandwagon. I thought voting was anonymous.

It's merely the result of a warped sense of importance. Pretentious assholes who truly believe they are influential, when in reality they are absolutely not. In fact, I'm willing to bet most Obama supporters haven't a clue about his questionable politics.
Ashanti has damn near a full beard. Imagine what her snatch looks like.

People Who Have Suicidal Thoughts When Thinking About Making Decisions For Themselves See Celebrities Like Flava Flav Supporting A Candidate And Want To Do It Too.

I heard about Daddy Yankee on the sat rad this morning. I almost died laughing when I heard he announced his backing after performing Gasonlina. Especially since the song basically means a chick wants her tank filled. Ahhh I was diein.
And Ashanti is def hairier.

Seems crazy to me that ppl would vote for a candiate solely on the basis of what celebrities support them...I would hope that it wouldn't sway someone's opinion..
RHH: Ashanti... lol

LMAO
I think that they feel some sense of importance like Chuck said.
In reality, no one is going to base their political choices on something some obscure D-List celebrity does.
I can see thousands heading to vote for Obama now because Flavor Flav says he's going to do it.
RHH: Ashanti

LMAO 95% of celebrities are useless, and all of them are useless to sway a vote, Miley Cyrus might as well throw her support behind someone next
Ashanti's a beast

That would only change the mind of a 13 year old, who cant vote anyways, so whats the point?

Daddy is a PUNK B I T C H for thinking McCain Cares about latinos & Endorsing him!
P.S. Damn near every person in the Hip Hop/R&B world is gunna say they support Obama!

Hahahaha! This is too funny, you called them Useless. I think it does absolutely nothing but make them look stupid especially when they can't explain why they support that particular candidate.
Ashanti looks like little monkey to me.

If anybody votes for a candidate just because a celebrity supports that candidate, that person should have their right to vote taken away from them.
EDIT: While we're on the subject, Chuck who are you supporting now? (sorry about Huckabee)

i think most people opinions don't. I read the Daddy Yankee article because it spark my interest. He is supporting the McCain because of his immigration policy...interesting for a republican. That latino swing vote crucial because this election is gonna be real close.
