When you choose them as best answer, say a simple 'Thank You' in the details when you choose and give them 5 stars. You can also send them a sweet email if they helped you by going to their profile page and clicking on 'send message'.

When you want to say your welcome to somebody who said thank you to you and chose you as best answer, add a comment to the question and just say a simple 'your welcome'. Or, since most people don't check the comments, just send them a message.

Good luck, hope I helped =)

Just say thank you when giving the best answer. No need to say you are welcome when you get a thank you. After all, it has to end somewhere.

i say things like that's what i was looking for, thanks so much, and just the truth. i refrain from saying much when they say you're welcome.
