I think she has to verbally support him if she wants to continue her political career. I don't think she supports him at all, just has to appear to.I think that under all of the political drama she is just waiting for the screw ups to happen so she can win in 2012

Not sure how politics work in Ireland, but here, it's business as usual.
You spend the primaries spouting off about how the other candidates aren't worthy. Your base wants to know why, so you point out, example by example, why they're not fit to lead the country.
Then, if you don't win the primary, you spend a few months sucking up in the hopes that you'll be named VP or at least get a cabinet slot.
Then, the convention rolls around, and you lay down your personal convictions "for the good of the party."
It's the biggest reason I think most folks have lost faith in the process.
Seems to me there's no unity in either party most cycles, but it's incredibly transparent in the DNC this time around. A lot of qualified candidates got swept under the rug, either by the media-driven Obamamania, or the politically-driven DNC itself and their behavior regarding Florida and Michigan and the whole "super-delegate" debacle.
Side note: If the DNC is all about "counting every vote" and "tearing down the fat-cat mentality of the favored few", how the hell do they justify the whole super-delegate thing, anyway? I mean, it smacks of favoritism, cronyism, elitism, and disingenuous action.

She said that when she was lagging behind in the primary polls for the first time.
Don't you also recall, when she was ahead, her saying
"I am honored to be here with Barack Obama" during a debate of some sort?
Frankly, Obama is no better at this, but you have to remember it was a bitter primary election, they both wanted to win and it got ugly, but before the ugly part they both, ESPECIALLY Hillary when she was ahead, made it clear that what united the Dems was greater than what divides them.
Let us not have a selective memory!

If you listened to her speech , you will find a very lackluster Democrat . She has been flat out screwed by Obama and his lovely wife , and was not even kissed nor did the Obamas who would give away this country as we know it wear the mask they should be wearing .

Well, the Irish invented politics, so you probably know more than we, but I feel safe in saying that Hillary could be anti-McCain/anti-Republican and that would inspire someone to support a candidate who was your opponent in the primary contest.

I don't know what being Irish has to do with it, but this is typical politics. Of course she would be pro-Obama because she has to put on a strong face and suck it up for the sake of the democratic party.

Yes. You are right on target with this remark. Earlier both she and the VP candidate, Biden, spoke unfavorably against Obama and both spoke pro McCain. It is coming back to haunt them.

Yes, she...was..hehehee..It's all just a bunch of garbage..They just want their party elected, and that's it..If it were not for the fact that Ireland outlawed smoking in all restaurants and bars, I would move there..That and, I hate the English.
