A full size stargate replica would really be something! I hope you get it built.
I actually don't think they even have that at the set where they film the Stargate episodes/movies. In the behind-the-scenes material, I saw someone tap it and tell the camera that it's plastic. So, if you build it, you'll probably own the only one. Cool.
I think you'll have to figure out how to build it yourself.
Maybe you could use a huge ball bearing with an engine at the bottom, controlling it. SKF makes ball bearings in all sizes, but I guess you could construct your own. Even a wooden one could work and would probably cut down on the cost.
Then you could use servos to move the locking clamps (or whatever you call the things that move and light up when a chevron is locked.
The rest is just electronics and programming. :)
With a replica DHD that actually control the gate, this would be a very cool thing indeed. Good luck!
PS: I saw your other question. It seems that almost everyone just want to misunderstand and think there are people who think they could actually build a working stargate. :(

Yikes, an ambitious project !! my FIRST suggestion would be to get a miniature, and then convert the dimentions up to full-scale.
Then did a VERY quick search for "Stargate Design" and found this site which purports to sell the blue-prints for $28 http://www.the3dstudio.com/product_details.aspx?id...
This site pushes another miniature: http://www.quantummechanix.com/stargatemirror.html
GOOD LUCK !!
