Recommended activities on each HA Island?

We are taking a cruise around the islands. I will have about one day to enjoy each, driving from the dock. I want to know what are must do/see things, thinking about one or two each day, ones that I can arrange with the cruise line. I know I want to see the volcano park, but what else. Please give me specifics including distance from dock.

Update:

I will be taking a cruise around the Hawaiian Island. Could you tell me on each island the must see sites

    OK, you don't mention a cruise line or the islands. I assume you mean Hawaii. Here are a couple of suggestions;

    Oahu-Pearl Harbor & Waikiki beach. You can also take in Diamond Head and possibly do some snorkeling or catamaran off Waikiki

    Maui-helicopter flight around Haleakala, the volcano; snorkeling by Molikini is spectacular if commercial

    Hawaii (the Big Island)-has Volcanoe National park which is great

    Kauaii-Waimea Gorge and maybe a helicopter flight around the island to see the sea cliffs, maybe a fast boat tour of same

    Check w/cruiseline to see what they offer. The costs are usually exactly the same as arranging it yourself or maybe a couple dollars more or less.

    Other benefit of having the cruiseline arrange for you is that if the tour is late, they wait for you. If you are on your own and late, the ship departs and you nede to fly to the next island at your cost
