Is it a bad idea to talk to people online?

Unless you live in close proximity to a person, you should just stay in cyber space. Like me, I ahve tons of poeple here online that I talk to, but i never actually meet up with them. Its kind of dangerous to meet up with people online cause you never know if they are predators or not. I don't think its weird at all to get to know someone online. i mean, don't forget about websites like eharmony or match.com. But unless it actually IS a dating site, I would not recommend trying to meet someone online in person....even if you've been talking for awhile and have a good connection.

I mean, it's not a bad idea, but you have to take alot of caution in it (meet them in public places stuff like that) my parents met over the phone which is basically the same thing, but it can turn out really bad if you aren't careful.

its fine to talk to people you know online.. and its ok to talk to people you dont know.. I do it all the time..

just be careful about who you talk to.. and dont give out any information like where you live or where you go to school or what your name is or whatev.. and never meet in person..

and if your a guy be careful or else you might end up on to catch a predator..lolz
