Most of the oil pumped in Alaska is sold on the international market and most of it goes to Asia. That doesn't help America, does it? It helps the international oil companies. They also get helped with a $4 billion subsidy paid for by YOUR taxes. They appreciate your generosity so much they charge you $4 a gallon for gas now. And of course they want even more now, which you seem happy to give them.

That's why McCain wants her to be his running mate, her husband can help pay for all the fuel it takes for McCain to drive back and forth between his 7 houses.

i still can't believe some of y'all defend oil companies like they're in the business because they just LOVE helping americans. can you not see through the marketing ploys that all corporations now use? those "plastics make it possible" ads, the "providing the energy to get you going" ads from dunkin donuts, and the list goes on and on. these people don't care about you and they don't care about me if we do not have a buck to throw their way by buying oil. all they care about is making money. do not act like they're humanitarians.
