What makes a gay person gay or a bi person bi?

I am 19, male, identified as Bisexual but im feeling I lean more towards guys... Nothing wrong with it but yeah. Can you guys make a list of well you know what makes a gay person gay, a bi person bi. Like feelings, thoughts, identity, bonds, friendships, relationships, crushes, ect. I am just wondering.

Update:

Well thanks for the advice. Yeah I guess we as a society get too caught up in Labels! Fu@# labels :P I am just having a hard time in asking this girl out, cuz I never really thought about like being physical like i do guys. I thought of dating and maybe the physical attraction will become stronger, but yeah.

Update 2:

She <3's me and I cant really say the same. But I am sorta willing to date, and experiment, yet i know that I like guys more. Who knows maybe dating her I will like in in defiantly.

    One word. Attraction.

That's the deciding factor for a gay or bi person. Meditate on this and I'm pretty sure you will agree.

Secondly, yes Fu@# labels, unless it doesn't feel good then you shouldn't. (Lol).

    Source(s): Experience and deep thinking.

It depends on the person and gay/ bi people could have any personality. I'm bi as well and think I also prefer men if I had to choose but I don't really know how I'm different from a straight person. But from personal experience, I only really know one or two bi/ gay people and I would say that they seem to hang around with girls more and have more in common with them.

There are so many characteristics that we have to choose from that this would be like going into a supermarket and choosing different items. No two people will walk out of the store with the same things in their basket. Just like the rest of humanity, we are all unique individuals.

No one really know yet, but resent research shows that that if a mother say as three male sons then the last son will have a higher chance of being gay.

Bo0o0o is right. Being yourself is all that you can do!

I couldn't make you a list of what straight people do, right? We're all different! Saying that all gay men feel one way, or think one way, wouldn't be accurate. I can only say all gay men have a thing for other men. x)

    Cheers hon!

You either like guys or you like girls and show some interest in guys...If you only show interest in guys then most likely you are gay...If you like girls but still show interest in guys, then you are Bi...that what I am...I've mostly been with girls but I still raise my eyebrows toward some guys...I'm bi-

i think u should stop labeling urself... like u said.. "nothing wrong with it"

i don't think that the fact that u may like guys and girls, or just guys or just girls will really identify u...

it's just ur sexual preferences. don't stay stuck on "oh i'm gay or bi" or whatever, there's more to u than just ur sexual orientation.

    just be urself.

Gay people prefer same sex relations...bisexual people prefer either gender...
