What is a good hospitality gift?

Sometimes not spending money shows people how much you really appreciate them. I'd clean the house real nice for them and cook dinner. Believe me, everyone appreciates a clean house and a meal to come home to. It's the thought that counts.

Take them to dinner, they will be happy to not have to cook.

Since they are in a different state, you could bring them something from your state, IE: Wild Rice from MN, or whatever your state is known for.

Wait until you get there and see if there is something they could use. For example: They mention wanting to get XYZ for the dining room.

Cook a double batch of something you make well. You can have some for dinner one night and freeze the rest for them.

Invite them out for a nice meal.

give them something for the house like a wall picture or some thin they can use a lot.

Prepare them a dinner that all you have to do is put in the oven. Make it, put it in a cooler, and then cook it when you get there so they don;t have to make dinner! We have done this before and it is always a success.
