I'm taking a year off before I join the military. Should I stay single or keep my eyes open for a fun guy?

I'm wondering what everyone thinks. I have (for the most part) remained single for my entire life, and have been considdering having a boyfriend lately.(More than usual).

I am at a point in my life where I'd love to have someone to share it with. No one that I know is interested, and it discourages me to no end. Even if they are, I may not share their interest. However, I am a good age to start dating and think that it could be fun and worth-while. I believe that I would make someone a great girlfriend. What say you? Am I crazy, should I become a nun, what are your thoughts on this?

Thanks.:)

Unless you run into a really awesome guy, i'd recommend staying single. I enver had a GF in highschool, simply because its too much to handle. I don't know if I'll stay single in college, but I'm not looking for true love this early in my life, thats for sure.

Do what you please, but don't "look" for a boyfriend, forsay. At 19 years old, you'll have at elast 20 yeasr to fall in love and meet the man of you dreams. Don't rush it!
