If I block an email address, does the blocked person know that I have blocked their email address?
In other words, if I want to 'send a message' (so to speak), to someone I dislike, without actually sending a message to that person, if I block their email address, will they know I blocked their address? Will they receive a 'mailer daemon' notice, or something that says I am not accepting emails from that email address? Or, will their email to me just get lost in the www ether?

The person you blocked will never know. There isn't any sort of notification or anything. If they send you an email in the future it basically just gets deleted and will not show up in your Inbox.
The person might think that you've read it and just didn't respond. The blocking is completely anonymous and not informed!

For YAHOO, merely click the e mail and hit unsolicited mail button. so as that it will block any destiny ones and deliver them on your unsolicited mail/BULK folder immediately. Or, which you would be able to upload his cope with on your BLOCKED ADDRESSES record under possibilities. Or, which you would be able to set a filter out (under ideas) to seize his emails and deliver them to TRASH. I assume that Hotmail has some equivalent ideas as nicely.
