I'm dieting, but have a very carb heavy diet?
I'm a pescatarian (I eat fish, but not mammals or birds), I have a mostly vegetarian diet and eat fish every other week. The problem is that I eat a predominantly carbohydrates based diet and I don't know how to avoid this. I'm using an online calorie counter and analyser to help me keep track of this. Can anyone suggest what to do?
*I eat fish every other day. Not week!
I'm trying to lose about 15lbs.

consuming a high amount of carbohydrates while trying to reduce body fat is like using gasoline to put out a fire, it's totally counter productive to the fat loss process. only competitive athletes need high carbohydrates. the brain only needs 5 grams of glucose per hour to function properly which equates to the minimum of 120 grams of carbs daily. a high carbohydrate diet with a low level of daily activity can only result in increased body fat stores over time. at rest the primary energy source used by muscle tissue are free fatty acids.
you need to be substituting carbohydrates for lean proteins. when the body is getting sufficient calories but carbs are replaced for proteins it forces the body to use a higher amount of free fatty acids for energy. the body does this because proteins are the least efficient energy source out of the 3 macronutrients (proteins, carbs and fats). if you eat fish then you can eat any other type of seafood so there are lots of low calorie proteins that you can eat.

Your BMI says that you are underweight, so if you are trying to be healthy you would be eating more to gain a bit more weight, not trying to lose any. By the way you seem to be sticking to your exercise and dieting, you have to be careful not to head down an eating disorder path. Carbohydrates are very important in any diet- if you are doing a bit of exercise they aren't going to make you gain any weight. Cutting them out means you will be tired and unhealthy all the time. Apart from that, your diet seems good if you just eat a bit more! The amount of exercise you are doing seems insane to me!

I'ts ok to have carbs if mixed with vegetables and fruits and the quantities are that of a normal plate.
You have a diet specially for people eating carbs, greenery, fruits and fish here:

Go to a websit that specializes in vegetarian diets. There are combinations of food (vegetabl and legumes) you eat at the same time that supply neccessary amino acids (proteins).
When you get a chance explain to me the logic behind pescatarian. I am not knocking you or belittling you in any way, I am just curious.
