Who was the best player on the u.s. womens basketball team this year?

well in my opinion it would have to be lisa leslie because of the leadership she showed everyone on the team credited her for their success and it was obvious she kept giving them lessons and everything and to come back after having a baby and win a fourth gold medal... enough said

well the second best player ddefinatelygoes to Sylvia Folwes

who ever thought that she would break out her shell that fast especially coming off of an injury and all...

she was the most impressive player behind leslie

watch out for Folwes. everyone is talking about Parker just because she dunked first yea but there are other girls that are coming that are just as good but i do give my props to Parker winning a ncaa title and gold medal

but yea folwes is second like she really dominated lok at the stats and they came when usa was close unlike with parker she scored when they were winning by like 30 points

honestly.. the men around the world are starting to catch up to our men in the NBA...

But the women in the world are a universe away from being as good as our women in basketball...

so it was total dominance... they won by up to 40points and an average of almost 30 points...

Its hard to say who was the best because any of them could have dominated their team....

I believe the ANCHOR on that team had to be Lisa Leslie... Shes a good leader and a good player... not a good scorer anymore but she leads that team...

Candace Parker and Diana Taurasi were the best players on that team but neither really scored a lot except diana took a bunch of shots a couple times....

But neither HAD TO give a huge effort because our womens team is just that much better....

they had 3 LA sparx stars on that team.... they were the biggest contributors and it makes sense cause they were already teammates so its easy for them to run the team. but the ball was shared and the Overall Team USA dominated.
