Is this normal for my pug's eyes?

My pug is 8 weeks old. It contstantly has "eye boogies" coming out of her eyes. It is clear with no yellow/green color to it. I am curious to know because it's quite a bit coming from her eyes and I am not familiar with pugs. Is this normal for my pug to have that much discharge from it eyes?

Update:

The reason I am not familiar with pugs, is because I used to have cocker spaniels. They got old and passed away. My husband decided to bring home this baby pug to me (which I would have never thought about getting) as a surprise. I do love her now all the same and have been trying to do the research on her breed.

    Yeah, normal.

My Pug gets her eyes cleaned twice a day.(as all pugs should, along with wrinkles)

I would look into getting some eye flush for that twice a day cleaning.

Just make SURE you clean it off/out. With their big buldgy eyes it's common for eye infections.

The fact you say "I am not familiar with Pugs" worries me.

Any Pug owner should do thorough research on the breed as they take alot of time and effort.

    ADD:

Okie Dokie, I'm going to give you some things only a Pug owner would know about the breed.

    >They get ear infections, CONSTANTLY! Be sure to clean their ears(along with eyes and wrinkles) alot!

    >They love to make anyone laugh, and get alot of joy in just plain old attention.

    >They follow you around EVERYWHERE. They're not good dogs to be left alone 8 hours a day.

    >They LOVE any type of interaction with people, and other animals. My little darling has never met a stranger, and adores playing with my Hamsters, Birds, Cats, and even splashing around in our fish pond. They wouldn't hurt a fly!

    >They like being scratched right on the tops of their heads.

    >They're balls of energy! Contrary to popular belief, they do NOT sleep alot. They are NOT lazy and they're NOT stupid.

    >They're super stubborn, sometimes making them harder to train but since they're huge people pleasers that usually makes them highly trainable.

    >They're SO much fun. Mine, Penny, has brought so much joy to my life every single day since I have gotten her. She constantly makes me laugh with her antics and facial expressions.

    >Pugs are often called "Multum in Parvo". It means "alot in a little". They're little dogs that don't seem to notice their size, acting like a big dog. They're compact, also being "alot in a little space".

    >They have more personality than they know what to do with.

    >They're very prone to being overweight! Get her on a good, holistic food as soon as possible. I feed mine Wellness, and she's perfectly healthy and a good weight. Stay away from Purina, Pedigree, Eukanuba, ect.. Pretty much ANYTHING you can buy at a grocery store.

    >They are totally obnoxious. They burp, snore, fart, grunt, oink, ect..

    > Oh, and have fun! I can gurantee you a Pug will be the best dog you'll ever own! I've owned over 20 dog breeds in my lifetime, and they don't even compare to my little Piglet!

    Pug Eyes

I would go to the vet and have them check it out. It is normal for a pug to have discharge from it's eyes, but not too much. Just to be safe, i would get it check out.. Probably nothing, though.

I don't know how much is normal. If she were mine, I would check with the vet to get a baseline. I do know that pugs have a lot of problems with their eyes and can become blind due to untreated eye problems.

Tearing is normal, but i would talk to a vet about clear discharge.
