Choosing a firewall for Windows?
Hi, I was wondering what is the best firewall.

Info about situation
I have a Intel Mac with XP installed. I will run Spore on my XP side(not my mac - it dosent have leapord) and it has the Fat32 system for my XP. I play games on my XP.
Otherwise im a mac person.
Thanks for any advice. Tell me if you are confused by my writing. :)
also do firewalls slow down you alot?

It depends on your firewall you are using. I dont use separate programs that installs firewall. You better use an internet security suite because it includes firewall that will not slow down the performance of your PC. There are great suites there and includes ESET Smart Security, worthful and great than Norton and other security suites.

Hi
I suggest you stick with the Windows Firewall. For home users this provides adequate protection.
I would recommend you focus on prevention, and not cure (this would be an outbound firewall). For example, keep your software up to date, get a good antivirus, etc.

Hii.. I would not suggest you this to invest 70 $ on stupid firewall like zonealarm. It been bugging a lot of people in terms of accessing internet because microsoft update.
