Is it bad for an 18yr old that hasn't had a part-time job.?
I have tried to get a part-time job for ages since I was 16, I have applied for loads of jobs, But they just haven't bothered to reply. Also there was this time when I asked this women who works for Wilkinson's, I said "Have you got any part time job vacancies available" And she said "No" Then this other women came along shortly after, she asked the exact same question "Have you got any jobs available" and the Wilkinson's women said "yes" to her. Is it the way I look or something.
Also I live in the middle of Nowhere, In a small village. so the buses only come every hour. I really need some money, just to support me in my A2 Level Art& Design course. Because I have to buy Art materials and they are really expensive too. What shall I do? I am really depressed because of this, because I feel like a failure.

Well i would start thinking are you dressing for the job when you apply to make a good impression . Are you being persistent after applying for the job ? Are you applying for jobs that you can get ? I would start out with stuff like retail stores or food service . Good luck .

See if there is a temp service in your area. That is how I got started, they are not always the best of jobs that way but it is money in the pocket. Also do a job search on the net for your area.

No not at all. I have a friend who's nineteen who hasn't had a job. I'm a bit older so I work thirty hours a week... but it's still considered a part time job.

i applied once but the manager was black b*tch and I sensed some tension during the interview.. few days later I went to the store to buy something and there were all black, half black, and indian employees
