Need help with math homework?

I'm lost! I did most of my homework but this last part I'm just not getting it.

1.) y=3 / 7-x Solve for x

2.) y= 2x+1 / 3x-5 Solve for x

3.) mx+2a= 1/3(c-x) Solve for x

Update:

I have the answers but I'd really like to know how to do them.

    1) y = 3/(7-x)

    (7-x) y = 3

    (7-x) = 3/y

    -x = (3/y) - 7

    x= 7- (3/y)

    2) y= 2x+1 / 3x-5

    3x-5 (y) = 2x +1

    3xy-5y = 2x + 1

    3xy-2x = 5y+1

    x(3y-2) = 5y +1

    x = (5y+1) / (3y-2)

    3) mx+2a= 1/3(c-x)

    mx + 2a = c/3 -x/3

    mx + x/3 = c/3 - 2a

    x (m+1/3) = c/3 - 2a

    x = (c/3 - 2a) / (m+1/3)

    Hope it helps

    1.) y=3/7-x

    First, multiply by (7-x) so that you have y(7-x)=3

    Second, divide by y so that you have 7-x=3/y

    Third, subtract by 7 so that you have -x=(3/y)-7

    Fourth, send the negative through(divide by -1) so that you have x=-(3/y)+7

    Last, you can rewrite it so that x=7-3/y
