My boyfriend is French and is looking for a grammar book to improve his English even though he stopped taking classes, preferably a book in English so that I can essentially teach him. Anyone have any recommendations?

I am an English as Secondary Language (ESL) teacher and there are literally tons of books that would be good to learn English grammar, but it really depends on what level your boyfriend is already at. If too easy, he will be bored, if too hard, he won't likely bother. If he can detemine how much he already knows, it will be easier to determine what level to start him off in grammar is.
