And Sarah herself is running on a platform of abstinence rather than sex education. And her daughter being pregnant shows that simply pushing an agenda of abstinence does not work.

So how can she expect to sell that concept to a nation when clearly it hasn't worked in her own household?

Dude, this has nothing to do with the election. Even Obama said it should be left alone and isnt fair to bring up in elections and doesn't mean anything towards how a person can run a country...pretty noble of him.

Like many kids, it goes in 1 ear and out the other. Don't you know that girls that have had sex ed have become pregnant, how did that help them? But the Palin kid now knows for a fact if she had abstained she would not be pregnant.

we all know the 17 year old girl got pregnant. it's not the first time, and it won't be the last time. when have you known a teenager to listen to everything their parents tell them? and wasn't barack obamas mom 17 when she got pregnant with him?
