What is a good brand of Kava?
I have some major anxiety issues (I worry about everything) and those extend to medication - I'm worried they'll make me worse.
I've been reading about Kava Kava though and it sounds great! I'd love to try it, but I want to make sure I'm getting a good batch. Sites I've read have said to make sure only the root is used in the drink, and some even said to look for a "waka grade" Kava Kava because those use only the finest part of the root. 'awa and tuday were other terms I was told to look for.
What is a good brand? I don't care about the taste, just the relaxing/calming quality.
Thank you! :)

I would reccomend you try kava from Vanuatu they have very good quality kava juices and they even export dried kava overseas to europe where kava pills are being manufactured. But if you want to taste pure fresh quality kava you should go to Vanuatu and you will proof it is very true.
In Vanuatu there are kava bars everywhere they call them nakamals. quite interesting place. You could order kava products from Vanuatu at http://kava-drinking.blogspot.com/ i suggest you forget kava products from Hawai or Samoa or Tonga, Fiji their kava are not that quality as in Vanuatu.

Tried Kava Kava but not that brand. I've taken it to relax when I'm stressed or as a sleep aid and its helped. It's suppose to "promote feeling of serenity, reduce restlessness" and even be a "muscle relaxant". I've even read it helps with nervousness before a presentation and such but never tried it for that.
