I have a writing problem. Can someone please help me?
I love writing, and I have written a lot, but I have a big problem. Let's say I decide to write a long story. I plan it all in my head, it sounds great, I write the first chapter outline, maybe even the full chapter, and then… right after I finish, I think it's the crappiest thing in the world. Ideas that seemed great before now sound pathetic in my head and I feel like my writing sucks. It happens every time, and usually I lose my drive after that. It happens a lot lately. No matter how many people tell me my writing is great, I can't help but think how bad it is. I just bring myself down and can't stop it. I can't even re-read what I wrote to fix it. I just feel terrible. Can anyone help me?

You may be too much of a perfectionist. Go with what others tell you./

This is normal to experience, you just need to build confidence that what you write is exactly what you want to write. Are you thinking of becoming a writer? If so, look up the biographies on your favorite writers and see how they feel when they write- they all experience ups and downs, it's a part of writing. Look around the community- is there a group of people getting together to discuss writing? Join one, they're called writer's groups or writer's support groups, and a lot of writers say that's what they needed to build their confidence in writing.
