#2 a coin released at rest from the top of a tower hits the ground after falling 5.7 seconds. what is the speed of the coin as it hits the ground?( disregard air resistance.

a = -g = - 9.81 m/s squared ??? thank you sooo much!!

Update:

srry i mean

(disregard air resistance a = -g = -9.81 m/s squared

    Average speed is just the total distance divided by the total time.

    If we assume the three posts are in a row then the total distance is 14 m + 15 m, and the total time is .. um.. you didn't provide the time it took to get from the left post to the center.

    Unless you assume the horse moved at a constant speed throughout (doubtful) you lack the data you need to completely answer.

    The best you could do is get the average speed from gate to 'right' post and hope that's all they cared abuot.

    2.) The speed of an object, after being acted upon by a constant acceleration for some period of time is

    final speed = original speed + (acceleration * time)

    in your case

    final speed = 0 + (5.7 * g)

  • number 1... what is the distance between the two points? 14m to the right, and 15m to the left, so 29m. Time is 14 secs. 29m/14sec, or 2.071 m/s.

    Look for the basic information within the word problem and don't be confused by the words.

    number 2... Using the formula you provided, 9.81m/sec² so multiply 9.81m x 5.7 and multiply 1sec x 5.7 and square that result. Divide the first quotient by the second quotient, which should be 55.917/32.49=1.72 m/s

    Don't be confused by the question. Look at the information, and put the information in the necessary formulas.

    a million) Pulse wave are non-periodic waves formed by unexpected enter of power. Pulse wave has wave length increasing progressively as they bypass faraway from source or commencing factor. occasion: Sea wave is pulse wave jointly as electric wave is periodic wave. The periodic waves have uniform wavelength and frequency over its experience. 2) wavelength x frequency = velocity of the wave w x 60 = 3 hundred,000,000 m/sec w = wavelength = 5,000,000 meters 3) w x 512 =330 m/sec for sound wave w = 330/512 = 0.644 meters 4) do not comprehend
