John Sandford and the "Prey" books....?

I'm reading the first book of the series (Rules of Prey) and it's okay, not too bad, but certainly nothing excellent.

Do the following books improve or get worse?

    I've read a couple of them, and I agree with you. His stuff is good, but not great.The quality is pretty consistent in the rest of the series, in my opinion. In similar styles, there are other authors I like better, Harlan Corben, James Patterson, Catherine Coulter if you prefer a slightly more light hearted approach. Anyway, that's my opinion, I'm sure others will disagree, but it would be a pretty damn boring world if they didn't.

    They're pretty similar. You like them or you don't.
