Help on Yahoo! Messenger for Blackberry?
I have a Blackberry Pearl from Verizon. I have an unlimited data plan but no text messaging plan at the moment. I am very confused as to whether Yahoo! Messenger for Blackberry uses text messages, or data. Please, I need a clear answer, and if you can, proof because I want to get it, but not unless its going to cost me per message.

Through T-mobile, the IM's on the Pearl would use the data plan and not the texting plan. I am not 100% sure this is the same for Verizon but it should be. Your best bet is to give Verizon a quick call and ask them.
