Rice/couscous/quiona and beans or lentils with high protein vegetables (like broccoli, artichokes, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, green peas, green pepper, kale, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard green, onions, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, yams, zucchini, etc.) and add some tofu, seitan, TVP, or tempeh top with miso, or peanut sauce, or black bean sauce. Veg chili with beans and TVP and other vegetables. A veggie burger or sandwich on whole wheat bread made with either chickpeas, chickpea 'tuna' salad, black beans, portobella mushroom, or pre-made like Boca, Tofruky, Morningstar LightLife, Amy's Yves, etc. With a side of hemp or soy milk and nuts, seeds, and high protein fruits (such as

apple, banana, cantaloupe, grape, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange, papaya, peach, pear, pineapple, strawberry, tangerine, watermelon).

Tofu is the best protein vegetarian dish. It can prepare in cold and also in hot. Tofu is good for adolescent. Beside it, hard boiled eggs or fried eggs, which also rich in protein. Soya bean soup. All these 3 are very easy to prepare.

This is actually very easy. just use meat substitutes in regular meals:

    1. Firm tofu - marinade with soy sauce. Freezing it first gives it a more spongy texture.

    2. Soy burgers - Bocca, Morningstar Farms, etc

    3. Use TVP instead of ground beef (again, use soy sauce for seasoning. TVP = texturized vegetable protein.

You can find all sorts of prepared meat substitutes at Whole Foods.

TVP in pasta sauce, as sloppy joes or sausage crumbles.

(don't use the yellowish crap, try to get your hands on TVP made of soy concentrate instead of defatted soy flour. It's much higher in protein and can be a true substitute for ground beef

    Seitan or wheat roast.

    Beans, peas, lentils.

BBQ'd tofu(yes, it's actually good, if cooked evenly with a sauce) or seitan.

tofu stir fry- here's what you do- just marinade the tofu in soy sauce after you cut into cubes or slices, for 10 min. fry in a teaspoon of olive oil till golden, remove, put some peppers, onions, broccoli, any veggies you like! and cook to desired taste, add the tofu back, and add some brown rice, i use the pre cooked kind to make things super easy. add some more soy sauce (low sodium) too taste. yummy. and it has protein in the rice, tofu and some of the veggies, as well as the soy sauce.
