the cursor frequently move one point to another without the mouse moves?
While using Microsoft Words/Excel or even in email in my Dell notebook, the cursor can move from one point to another point (randomly) even without the mouse being move (in most cases, my hand is holding the mouse but it is kept stationary). Have tried the mouse setting and use different mouse but to no avail. Somehow the cursor is very sensitive .... any suggestion

It could quite a few possiblities and without being on site, it's hard to tell but you can try out the following
1.Go to device manager, right click on my computer, properties, hardware tab, device manager button, look for any abnormality that branch off in the list, click on it to highlight and click on uninstall button to delete the line, restart pc.
By doing the above it, it let window operating system to resolve the conflict of hardware on the IRQ or on the menory by itself if there's any.
2. reinstall the mouse driver that come with the pc/laptop, some corrupted file or installation of another software might overwrite the file needed to run the mouse in orderly manner.
Hope this helps.
