How many hours per week, do you work and are you compensated for overtime?

I work for a huge fastener company located in Minnesota. Our required minimum workweek is 50 scheduled hours with arbitrary Saturdays/Sundays. No comp time or overtime.

This question is for employees only not employers or the independently wealthy.

Straight 40, o/t past 8 hours per day, double time past 9 hours per week > per union contract with the CWA.

If you're really wanting to know why you're not getting any extra pay, it would probably be because you're paid salary & not hourly. If so, they can work you as long as they like. with no extra $ in the pay envelope.

I work, on average, 45+ hours per work. I am required to work 40. I get paid time and a half for overtime
