I really really like him. Help? ?

Okay since middle school, he asked me out basically everyday. I didnt know him at all, and i thought he was just a perverted jerk. By the end of 8th grade, we had a real conversation, and we were sitting in french and he was looking at my arm (im a cutter) and he saw my cuts and he was just running his fingers over my cuts, really gently. then i realized that he wasnt some perv, he was a really sweet genuin guy. Now that high school has started, i see him everysingle day, and we talk all the time. I told him that I like him. and he said he has feelings for me. the thing is..he hasnt asked me out since the day before our first conversation. I would really love to ask him out, but im afraid that he doesnt really like me, or he doesnt want to go out with me anymore.

I know that Ive probably ruined my shots, and he probly doesnt want to be rejected anymore. But I would never reject him now that I got to know him. I really want to be with him. Help? What should i do?
