What hooks up to an inter cooler?

i know one side is a turbo charger... but what does the other side connect to?

    The turbo compresses the intake air charge. this compression causes heat and needs to be cooled for more power, the job of the intercooler. The air is sucked in thru the air filter, thru ductwork into the compressor side of the turbo, then it is pushed thru more ductwork in to the intercooler, from the intercooler it goes thru more ductwork into the intake manifold of the engine.

    the pressure comes from the turbocharger via pipes into the intercooler then proceeds to the intake manifold of the engine through pipes
