1997 Holden Vectra how to charge off cigarette lighter.?
I recently bought a 1997 Holden Vectra CD. When I tried to put my Belkin iPod charger/player into the cigarette lighter socket it didn't fit. Does the Vectra have a non standard (Australia) sized cigarette lighter socket thereby meaning I can't use the in car charger on any item? I ask this as I'm thinking of getting an in car GPS and would like it to charge on the go.
Thought I'd check the obvious that being the fuse. Only problem the symbols in the fuse box can be confusing in that there is no obvious one for the cigarette lighter. So could someone please direct me to the correct symbol for the cigarette lighter fuse.

If your car has a non-standard lighter your best choice is to install an aftermarket "Power Socket" available at most auto parts stores.
