what's a good size tank to house a fire belly toad?

I'm thinking about getting a fire belly toad in the near future. Right now I have a 2 gal tank that is housing feeder fish for my frog but they will be gone soon enough. Will 2 gal be enough for 1 fire belly toad? Should I go get a bigger one instead, in case I want to get more than 1? I read that they like to be in groups.

A 2 gallon is enough the bigger the better but a 2 gallon is enough. Fire bellied toads are toxic and you will have to remove the toxin for the cage and with a 2 gallon cage its going to be a lot of work. You can buy a small submerged filter with charcoal that will work in a five gallon tank with shallow water and save you the daily removal and refilling of water.

5 gal is minimum for 1 but a 10 will be good for 2.

i might in all possibility USE A 5-10 GAL TANK for 2-5 FIREBELLY TOADS yet rather you purely 2 GALLONS OF area in keeping with FIREBELLY TOAD THEY DO choose AQUASAFE WATER because of the fact AMPHIBIAN dermis is fairly comfortable and could take in MANY risky debris IN faucet WATER. you do no longer choose warmth AND lighting fixtures except your place is under 60 stages. THEIR TANK could desire to be 0.5 LAND 0.5 WATER. you're able to do this by utilising FILLING 0.5 THE TANK WITH FISH PEBBLES AND 0.5 THE TANK WITH WATER. additionally upload FLOATING flora AND LILY PADS. you may FEED THEM CRICKETS , MEALWORMS , WAXWORMS , BLOODWORMS, AND FISH PELLETS inspite of the reality that THEY in all possibility isn't taught to consume FISH PELLETS. and make certain which you do GET THE APPROPIATE SIZED PREY products
