NDS Homebrew help! This is important!?
Can any program run on any flash cart, like R4 and M3? Or are certain homebrew apps made for m3 and r4?

Any homebrew games will work with the DS carts. Some carts does require you to patch the homebrew app for it to work.
I think m3 and r4 have autopatcher so u don't have to worry.

Not everything works, how do I know? Because I've had a supercart, and I've read about these other carts, like the m3, you've wrote. Don't take my word for it, you'll find out when you try em all out yourself.
A couple of years ago, most carts weren't really compatible with homebrew apps. Remember, they're mostly designed for playback of DS roms. The cart makers don't really care about homebrew, but you can try going over to the carts' official forums, and checking there. I'm sure that'll help you. Or try going to the QJ.net forums.
