Creative ideas for a group buddy picture (senior pictures).?
I'll be getting my senior pictures taken in a month and I had already decided that I wanted to do a buddy picture with a friend. The only problem was...which one? So instead of just choosing one, I decided to do a group buddy picture with about 12 of my closest friends (6 boys, 6 girls), the only problem is..I have no clue what to do! Any ideas of a fun, maybe goofy way to take this picture would be great!

some of my suggestions might be cliche... but i do hope it give u some idea or inspiration to expand on it...
- jumping shots : are always fun. the process usually gets loads of laughter... would look great in nice open space... blue skies, green field
- underwater shot: if u have an underwater camera it might be cool to get everybody in the water... some smiling.. some with goggles... etc.
by the pool shots or by the beach shots might be fun too...
- at playgrounds : a wide shot could look fun, with some people on swings and such?
- themed party: maybe u guys could set up a nice themed tea party, where each of u could dressed up and take pictures while enjoy a tea party at the same time
- crowd: stand still between moving crowd, or shoot urselves in a stadium or gymnasium and pretend to be a crowd cheering ? with poms poms, banners, face paint and all?
well, hope i helped a lil... all the best !

Make a pyramid- Or all the guys give the girls piggy-back rides- Everyone make a kung-fu move- Everyone jump at once- Guys pulling girls hair/girls pulling guys ears- If it's an outdoor portrait: Have everyone sitting on bleachers or somewhere that you all hang out pretty often
Just a few fun ideas!
My favorites are always a group jump picture!

Group pyramids are always cute, spread everyone out to spell out 09 (I'm guessing you're graduating in 09), line everyone up and they can pick you up like you're laying across them (think of a wedding picture of groomsmen holding up a bride... thats the only way I can think of describing it... sorry its too early for me to think), something outside at a playground would be cute and everyone can be on their own toy; swings, slide, guys pushing girls on swings, etc., if you all sit down and make a V you can be the end point in front of the picture? Hmm.. If I think of more I'll edit my response. Good luck and congrats!

do a few things and see how they come out.
Serious all sitting or standing together, just smiles
goofy, climbing on each other, be yourself
maybe a group shot where the photographer takes it from above like a ladder or roof
do it in one of your favorite places you all go like a park, at school, or something to make the memory!

I did this at my grad with about 17 of us and we were all in our gym clothes (because we were all into sports). And the photog had his studio set up in the school. We just acted like we always do - it was comfortable. One guy and girl were showing off their pipes and two other guys had the Rocky stare. Two girls were laying down in the front, etc. It was a lot of fun.... and with 12 people... you come up with something even if you don't have a plan.
JUST HAVE FUN!! :)

Do something that really expresses who you are. Maybe a hobby or a pasttime. Or a butterfly garden. If there is a favorite spot, or somewhere special, like a park that has meaning for you and your parents.

All of you laying on the grass, laughing and looking up, or sitting on a car and just a picture of your legs in black and white [old fashioned.]
