My gandma is now gonna need in-home care and we need financial help. Where can we look for grants or aid?
My grandmother is in the hospital and the doctor has told us she cannot live alone anymore. We are devastated and we need to try and find some financial assistance to help us pay for in-home care. Can anyone direct me to websites where we can apply for grants or financial aid? She is 94 and she is just adamant about not going to a nursing home. Please, I am begging for someone who can help us. It's killing my mom.

Go to www.aoa.dhhs.gov . They have an Elder Care locater. I don't know what state you live in. Contact the Area Agency on Aging in your state.
Try www.eldercare.gov/Eldercare/Public/Home.asp
There are lots of help out there for the elderly.
You can go to my profile and contact me. I will give you a telephone number for you to call in the morning. This is my office. We can give you numbers to call in your state. I do this kind of work every day.

It's different in every state. Ask to speak to a social worker at the hospital. They can tell you the options in your state. In many cases you will depend on medicaid if your grandmother is poor. They will not give you full time in home care. They will also take your grandmother's home and any assets, but they will pay for a care home.
