why did mccain change his stance on offshore drilling?

after receiving over 1 million in contributions from oil companies.

    Because McCain does not have an agenda against oil companies so he looks at the issue from a cost point of view. When oil was cheap , there was no need to drill . But now it is not cheap so it makes sense to drill for more.

    ok- that is why Obama has recieved more money from oil companies thatn McCain.

    Anyways he prob changed his mind because he , like millions of Americans realized one day - "holy shizznit" this crap is getting out of control - and its time to take control of the helm.

    I guess the easier thought is just to believe the oposite...right

    obama has received just as many contributions from oil companies even the democratic congress has changed their tune.... move along
