You have several options:
Get them proper schooling. It will work wonders, and not just in that area.
If you don't want to spend money on that, get chew toys made specifically for puppies.
Depending on how old your puppy is,
rawhides are good as well.
But if your puppy is under 6 months, do NOT give them rawhides
or greenies unless it says it is for puppies.
Another thing you can do is get puppy repellent and spray it on the main objects it chews on.

You can train your puppy not to chew on things without any agression, As soon as you notice your puppy chewing on something, like wires or a chair, simply get a toy and replace it for the object. Your puppy will soon learn that it has to chew the toys and not anything else!

When you catch your puppy chewing on something, replace it with something that's okay for him to chew on. Like, a rope, bone, ball, you get the idea. Pretty soon he'll understand that the toy is the chewing thing. Not a nice pair of shoes!

this may be a area. yet one that would final till he's a million a million/2 to 2 years previous. With some dogs experience longer. a million. each and every time you notice him with some thing that he's not meant to have, take it away and supply him an appropriate chew toy. 2. by no potential circulate away him unattended with some thing you do not pick destroyed. 3. If there is a few thing in specific that he can not circulate away on my own. use the bitter Apple or Cheyanne pepper spray on it. it is extremely user-friendly and count selection your advantages $3 hundred.00 in chewed up products is inexpensive while in comparison with what some dogs have chewed up. spanking and crating as punishment won't paintings with the aid of fact the dogs can not relate them to his having chewed some thing.

You can spray some "Bitter Apple" on the items your puppy likes to chew on while they are not looking. When they go to chew on it, the taste is horrible and it will teach them that chewing is not something they want to do. You can get Bitter Apple at any pet store.

puppies chew for two reasons: they are bored or they are cutting teeth....................give the puppy several different kinds of toys for chewing. i like the cow hoofs and put a teaspoon of peanut butter in it once a day...........he will chew on it for hours...........also will go back to it off and on.
i also like the bone shaped nylon chews.........they aren
t rawhide as these are dangerous if you aren't there to watch him chew.
next.............if you leave the puppy alone he may just be lonely.........try leaving on the radio with soft music, the tv on low or other types of noise..........
hope this helps.....................
