Soon as I got to the 100 year remark i stopped reading since either this author didn't take the syringe out of his arm before he started writing or is in a certain someone's pocket.

These veteran arguments that liberals make are so funny to me.

I seperated from the Navy early in 2005, and ringing in my ears were all the accusations of Donald Rumsfeld and Bush cutting veteran benefits.

Did you know that, if you want to understand all the benefits we get, you have to get the full catalog (about half the size of the JC Penny catalog or a common phone book)? We have to have advisors explain them to us!

You guys lie about everything, and you smear good men. All the while, you have no clue what you're talking about, and you do nothing more than act as the mouth pieces of political agents you've never met. If they asked you to take it up the rear, you probably would, and you'd do it for free.

FIRST OF ALL, this site is a link from the dailykos! Non eed to say more on that.

Second, unless you are a vet like me you will know that the wording in the legislation would have been bad for veterans and would not have done us any service. Perhaps you should read the notes from the congressional minutes on each bill proposed.

Yes we know. Since you asked the question, why don't you tell us why? Did you also tell us that McCain voted to limit the new GI bill to those who served overseas instead of making it an across the board right?

Yes, I do know about his voting record for the military. I also know his reasoning. He has said that they don't deserve it! They have it much easier than those who fought over 4 yrs in the 2Nd W.W. & that they were the ones that deserved the education, medical care etc., not those serving today with their rotations, & less time on the front than those of the 2Nd W.W.! Strange reasoning in my book!

McCain voted in favor or against any vote that will lead him through the primaries before ridding on the wings of lies to attempt gambling his way into the white house.

david, it doesn't surprise me. That's a case of talking out the side of your mouth/cheek. Saying one thing and doing another. That's probably just propaganda cuz after all McCain's a vet. Don't believe everything you read david. Like Public Enemy sang, "Don't Believe the Hype."

The department of VA is so corrupt its ridiculous to even think it does any good stealing taxpayer money from the vets.
