Evaluate Queen Oprah's involvement in the 2008 election.?

I can't believe she said that she is not going to use her show for a political platform, but she had Obama on the show twice and has announced to guests on her show several times, that she supports Obama. Give me a break. I would have respected her more if she had just come out and said that because she supports Obama, she will not have Palin on her show.

Unfortunately, she is showing her true colors and they are not good. Why the emotion for Obama... why did he bring her to tears? The only logical conclusion based upon historical context would be she supports him ONLY because he is black!! No other reason. I have seen him first-hand in Miami... he is a typical complaining... Bush bashing Liberal Democrat. What I heard was 40% about President Bush & the remaining time was appeasing his crowd with no real particular solutions. Oprah is showing that she has human faults, and has various forms of prejudices.

For what purpose? Oprah has the same rights as the rest of us. It doesn't affect my life and decisions.

She has decided not to have cnadidates on her show since she decided to support Obama. Outside of that, why should she not be able to support whomever she wants? Repubs have rich people supporting them, Obama has Oprah. So what? And if she did choose to make her show the Obama Show, why not? She is not a news station, she is a talk show host. She can do whatever she wants to do with her show and money.

Her money was thrown down a gopher hole (cash she donated to Obama)...she alienated a big group of her viewers...Oprah will suffer negative repercussions from all this...
