Do you think Joey Jordison from slipknot will be like Head from KoRn?
I was on this slipknot fan site where they up date all news, and etc, and they got this from a magazine Kerrang magazine, Don't get me wrong I love HEAD so freaking much, and KoRn, Big fans of both, and love slipknot to death, but this is what Joey said, I was just wondering does anyone think he be like HEAD and go with god soon? cause this is what the interview thing said.
Joey Jordison: "I was basically dying"
In today's Kerrang! magazine Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison speaks frankly about his long running, and very private, battle with drug addiction for the first time.
"I realised I had a problem with narcotics when I realised that I wasn't just hurting myself, I was hurting the people around me," Jordison told Kerrang! "I had a real moment of clarity last year. My girlfriend at the time, a girl who I thought I was gonna be with forever, cheated on me and I went on a three week coke binge. I actually wrote some of the riffs for the new album [All Hope Is Gone] around that time, which is the only good thing to come out of it. But I just wasn't having fun anymore and my family knew it.
"My sister, Annie, kept trying to call me but I didn't want to speak to anyone. The phone was off the hook," he continues. "I didn't answer my door, the lights were off, and I was just ******* ragingly pissed off all the time. So she sent me a picture of my nephew. He was trying to play drums and he was wearing one of my old masks. And so I called her and she put him on the phone and he said 'I love you uncle Joey', and I was like '**** it, I'm done. This is ******* stupid.' I realised I was basically ******* dying. It took that to make me realise what was really important in my life and that I'd done a lot of mean things to people."
Jordison also told K! that he's already bought his own grave.
"It's over down on Second Avenue [in Slipknot's home town of Des Moines, Iowa]," he says. "That's what being in Slipknot does to you."

I hope not. Korn is awesome and Slipknot is even better. I read "Head's" book and it made me so angry. It's cool that he found God and whatnot. But, he seemed to blame everyone but himself for his drug and abuse problems. He also tried to push his beliefs on everyone else. Just let everyone make their own decisions.
Plus, Joey is a way more talented musician than "Head", so I don't think we have anything to be worried about. I'm just ready for him to get back with Murderdolls!

Slipknot is a nu metal band (although deathcore bands cite them as an influence), Insane Clown Posse is technically a hip hop group--just because they're white, wear clown make up, and aren't making pop music doesn't mean it's not hip hop--, and Asking Alexandria is a metalcore band. All the bands you named are also a wide range of genres. Emo doesn't exist as a genre. That is just what people call music they don't like. Bands like Weezer, Fugazi, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco and Bring Me The Horizon (all of whom have been called emo) have nothing in common. They are all different genres and just because you don't like them doesn't mean other people don't have to. Just be your freakin self and let everyone be themselves and listen to whatever the heck they want.

Hopefully not. But I'm a muso and I can tell you we sell our souls for our art and feel burned out and exhausted all the time. So, don't be surprised if he does.
