windows starting up and after few minutes screen goes off (colour goes wrong) and restart?

It could be the connecting wire between your PC and the Monitor. Its either loose at one of the ends or is damaged and needs replacement. But this does not cause a PC to reboot.
It could also be your PC Overheating. That means one of the fans inside the computer is not working. (Most likely the CPU fan). If you have a 3D video card, check the fan on that too.

Start PC in safe mode ... if it does there is probably problem with your display driver. un-installl it and then reboot. After reboot if things look to work fine, reinstall the display driver.
