in la county what does r1-1 zoning mean?

    R1-1 is often used as a default for newly annexed areas or if it hasn't been officially zoned. Typically, it indicates: Residential, single family homes. Some allowance for 2 single family homes on the same lot. No townhouses, appartments, or businesses. Your basic residential neighborhood.

    I think it has to do with the new area codes being distributed!
