you are not alone. These stinky globules are called tonsil stones and they emerge from the small crypts in your tonsils.

They come from when your tonsils are busy fighting a throat infection that would otherwise set you back sick for quite a time.

So then, what to do?

Nothing, Its means your tonsils are working well.

I suffer from this also, it is not an infection but a build up of sulphur which comes from your post nasal drip and old food etc. The name for this is tonsilothis and tonsil stones are the name for the little particles which pop out! hope this helps!

Those are called lacunae and they are the remnants of infection that you had in your tonsils. They work themselves out of the tonsil cavity. If you have that happen frequently, it means that you are getting frequent tonsillitis. You may want to keep a record of how often those episodes happen and report it to the doctor.

it's okay, I have had it too. Basicly what it is is pus, that collects in the tonsils, in tiny pockets, and then it kinda pops out. it's gross but harmless.

Try gargling with mouth wash, it will help.

It goes away.
