Does your music scare people?
Like, if you like death/black metal (I know I talk a lot about those genres, but they are the heaviest and I'm getting into them), and you have friends / girlfriends / parents / teachers that you show your music, do they think you're some kind of freak? Do you like to scare people off with that? I would like to do that, especially to my girlfiend...
MQ: SOngs about extreme gore/tender love? (lol)
I have just realized that I posted the question twice... Sorry for that.

Sometimes. Not that I think it should. Personally, the plastic pop world (i.e. Britney Spears and the painted Girlicious dolls) scares ME. But apparently it's fine for our 12 year old girls to emulate s!uts and be proud of it.
My friend refers to my music preference as "heavy metal destructive noise". ;)
I once scared a potential boyfriend away back in the day with a Coal Chamber CD...
My friends groan when it's my turn to "play DJ" and try to wrestle me away from the CD player in the car...
To each his own, I guess. All I know is that I like what I like, and despite the fact that I generally prefer pretty heavy sometimes scary stuff :), I'm a nice and otherwise normal person.

I like a few bands that have some really creepy videos. And sometimes I like to scare my parents or friends that don't listen to metal. So if you want to scare the crap out of your gf, try showing her the video "Scorched Earth Erotica" by Cradle of Filth. That seems to be the video that works best for me. Seeing as how my parents and some of my friends are Christians, Behemoth's video "At the Left Hand ov God" works well too.

Yes, sometimes. Lol.
Mostly when I listen to death and black metal.
Plus, i have a grandpa who is super Mormon-y and he picks awkward moments to come to my house (When I'm jammin out to Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar or any death or black metal album I have in my collection particularly Deathcrush by Mayhem.)

Some of the music I listen to scares, alienates and even disgusts people I know.
Nah,I'd prefer it perhaps if (some of them at least)understood it more.Maybe I found some appeal in shocking my friends when I was a lot younger, but certainly not now.But overall I don't really care.

No, my music is rather subtle...not too uncommon I guess.
Most people (well, in school at least) think my music taste is rather boring or "lacking" something that the music these days have...which is completely moronic...
Because Wilco would beat the sh*t out of Paramore or something like that.
But it doesn't really matter. No one in their right mind would really care about what other people think...I'd opt for my music over any of that talentless/tasteless crap out there these days.
MQ: I actually don't know...

Whatever.

Yes, some of it, my sisters grew up very frightened of it but oh well I was the only boy of 7 sisters so I had to find something to KEEP THEM OUT of my business, and to repay them by basting my music at all hours of the night when my parents worked late for all their wrong doings that they pawned on me and all the spankings I took for them
