for a class project i have to explain why Victor is NOT the bigger monster but the monster is, but I do not agree with that can somebody help me out with suggestions

uh....if you think the person you're defending is guilty, mustn't you...ethically...step down or encourage the person to plead guilty and represent them as such?
anywho...approach your speech as if you are explaining why OTHERS would have those opinions. It helps to disassociate your own opinions on the subject and truly play devil's advocate. ie: some might say that killing a child is monstrous...etc.

Just think about what you would write if you got to choose your own topic, then twist everything that you would say around to make Victor sound terrible. That's what I do when I have to write a speech as a defense attorney when I think the person I'm defending is guilty.
