Usually, water is sufficient. A gallon a day sounds sufficient for daily intake. When you are working out strenuously, working up a really good sweat and heating up your body, things like Gatorade are recommended to replenish the electrolytes your body loses during this type of exercise. But, when your body is thirsty, it's asking for water. So, just drink it til you're not thirsty anymore. Now....there is one other thing. If this thirst thing continues, you should see a doctor. There are some medical conditions for which excessive thirst is a symptom, diabetes being one of them. So be safe. If this keeps up, see a doctor. Simple blood tests can tell if this is medical problem. Good Luck.

Yes you should drink.
Water is the primary substance that you need to flush impurities and toxins from your body, assists in the immune system in moving disease fighting cells through the bloodstream and also vital to your metabolism and digestion.
Being thirsty is a sign of having insufficient water in your bloodstream.
Different people have different water capacity in their blood. Hence you should drink when you're thirsty because your body knows itself best by sending the thirst message.

Nobody drinks a gallon of water a day. If you're drinking constantly and still thirsty you need to get checked out for diabetes.

YES
when you are working out
you are sweating and you are losing water in your body
drink water when you're thirsty because you need it
However
stop drinking water when your stomach starts to hurt and you feel sick
you shouldnt get to this point
just drink enough to quench your thirst
hope I helped (:

Most Definitly!! i set my minimum at a gallon but i always seem to end up filling my galoon jug again during the day lol you always gotta keep a steady amount of water going. and remeber that when you work out you lose water so when you drink a gallon, your not really taking in an entire gallon.
good luck! 19 KCMO

If you don't properly hydrate before you start exercising, it's hard to drink enough water to catch up. you lose water faster than you can absorb it when exercising. if you feel thirsty then drink. I consume at least 150 oz of water everyday and I'm fine. the more work you do, the more water you'll need

yes-when you feel thirsty, your body is already starting to dehydrate,by 1/2 gallon if i remember correctly.

yes, you should drink water if ever you feel thirsty because that's the body's reaction whenever your body is dehydrated.
