can I use skype on my psp?
I have a PSP 2001 and I would like to know if I can use skype on it. If I can, I would also like to know how and and from what site I can install it.

Skype works on psp model 2000 and newer.
What do I need to use Skype for PSP?
To make a call with Skype for PSP, you will need:
1. A PSP (PSP-2000 series) with new system software available in late January 2008.
2. One of the following:
a) Headset for the PSP system (PSP-270) + Headphone with Remote Control (PSP-S140 series) OR
b) Plug in USB Microphone (PSP-240).
3. A WiFi connection (wireless LAN or hotspot).
4. A Memory Stick Duo™ with at least 1MB free memory.

Skype is video chatting with a web cam, a broadband internet connection such as DSL, cable modem T1 line, etc.
PSP's aren't equipped to handle this type of program. PSP's were designed to play games on, hence it's acronym spells out PlayStation Portable.
If you're really interested in Skype, use it on a laptop or desktop computer.
